Signal Boost!

As a writer I work very hard to have characters that are POC and non-hetero. It’s a thing for me, it really is. I found it hard to find characters that spoke to me in other people’s books, in TV, in movies, so to took the old saw ‘if you don’t like it make your own’ very seriously.

I’m not the only person who did that. :D

Kitty Burroughs got the same thing and she went and did it. In fact, she took her favorite things and mixed it in as well. She’s got an Indigogo campaign started to fund printing her YA novel The Posterchildren.

If you’re interested in YA novels, in representation for POC and LGBT characters, in supporting new writers, then please go over and give her some support!

*cheers*

About meyari

I am a writer of erotica, science fiction and fantasy. I've been writing for years but have just sold my first erotica novel and am working on self-publishing my non-erotica. I love sewing, collecting dolls, reading, and a great many crafts that I no longer have time to do. I've been happily married to my husband for 20 years.
