I’m wondering

Would anyone be interested in signed copies of The City of the Ladies?

I mean, I can get copies of the book and sign them and send them out if people do want them. I’m just not sure if anyone would want them.

I’ve seen other authors do things like that. They make what amounts to special editions of their books to drum up interest. One person I saw did art and a special wrapping and signed it and sent it to people who paid in advance for the book. Lots of Kickstarter campaigns do the same sort of thing.

I just… don’t know if anyone would be interested in a super-thin book.

*is insecure about the length of The City of the Ladies*

(I’m figuring out all this promotion stuff as I go, both what I’m comfortable doing and what works. That means I’m kind of flailing around as I go. I do know that I’m going to release Fitting In very, very differently when its done. So. You know. Lessons are being learned. Bit by bit.)

Soooooo… would anyone like copies?

Either as a giveaway (1-2 copies at most) or as a special edition (where I take orders and then do something extra nice for people who buy them)?
