NaNoWriMo: Mages of the North – Lost Boy

Yay for finally getting into the start of the real action of this story! *cheers* Granted, it’s just the very start but I’ve been waiting to introduce Bakar for a while. Hopefully there will be a lot less exposition and a lot more action from this point on, though I’m going to despair of every writing enough / accurate enough description to convey what I see in my head. *sighs* I guess that’s what revisions are for. :| Oh well, I hope everyone enjoys the new chapter!

Story: Mages of the North: Lost Boy
Author:
Rating: NC-17 Overall
Warning/Themes: Slavery, past magical rape, past war, recovery from those events, magical mental and physical enslavement, regular physical enslavement, ample sex of the fluffy and loving variety, and fame being less than a positive thing in people’s lives.
Word Count: Approx 3630 words
Summary: Escaping from their rapidly growing reputations after killing the Immortals (in Secrets of the Artificer Mages)) Juraj and Besim flee to the Northern Wastes to reunite with the friends Besim left behind as well as to investigate the strange magical force they felt from the Forbidden Islands during the final battle. Once there they find that things have changed for the worse for their friends, starting from when a mind-destroyed young man arrived among the Wanderers. Juraj and Besim decide to save him despite the dangers and risks surrounding them. It turns out to be a choice that will test their magical knowledge, their relationship and their ability to survive to the very limit.
Feedback: Comments (even if it’s just that you read) are much loved and concrit is much appreciated!
